U.S. crude settled $ 1.08 to $ 79.61 in trading in New York. Meanwhile, London Brent crude rose 78 cents to $ 77.77Oil prices rose last week to highlight the results of U.S. banks fueled optimism for the global economy.
Analysts say that the short-term direction of oil would lower the dollar, and the next round of corporate results.
And there were many caution that the price increases seen in recent days could be reversed easily.
