I'm In Love

There's just something about it.  It's majestic.  It's beautiful in its simplicity.  It has the ability to make any day better.  It makes me turn into a 5 year old child again.  It's snow.  And I'm in love with it.

Yesterday was the first snow of the season, first snow of my life.  I've driven to snow, but it wasn't falling, and it was as close to man made as it gets.  This was snow in its purest sense.  It fell from the sky in soft little balls that would land on your eyelash and stay there for just a second, just long enough for you to flutter them once and giggle at the feeling.  I walked outside, without a hat, without gloves.  I wanted to feel the snow.  I wanted to let it seep into my hair, no matter how gross it made it look.  I wanted to run my fingers through the perfect packing snow that covered the outside of the dorm in a thick white blanket.

I wanted to leave my classes so badly, just so I could run outside and frolic.  My poor friends, the entire day they had to deal with me running around like a child.  I don't know what it is, snow does something to you.  We had a snowball outside of our dorm, taking snow from the tops of cars that lined the street.  My friend and I stood there, mouths open wide, catching the little perfect flakes that fell (although to me, it looked as if they were dancing) from the sky.

I knew I'd be excited for snow, but I didn't realize that I would fall in love with it.  In case I didn't love the East Coast, it's official now.

I'm With Yall'. I Love Snow A Whole Bunch....

especially when it's in President Bush's driveway.

If it aint', would yall' put a big ol' pile there, for your's truly, Berf Nurfel.

That way we can track conspirators foot prints in the snow, since the White House won't reveal their visitor logs.

Bye-Bye Yall
