Tea Party Rally at the Capital today---DC

Tea Party Rally at the Capitol Today...DC Thu, November 5, 2009 11:10:18 PM Hi everyone; I hope you were able to catch the Tea Party Rally held today in Washington DC in protest of the Health-care Reform Bill. Most TV channels were busy reporting on the mass killings today in Texas by the American born Muslim that converted to Islam.. However the Rally was being covered on CSPAN, THIS Rally was not as large as the 9/12 Tea Party Rally that had well over a million (some say 1.7 Mil) people...but it still had a HUGE turnout (around 4,000 people). The greatest part was having it on a 'weekday' while everyone in DC was working. Because of this, every politician that's opposed to this government take-over of health-care and supports our fight for freedom...stood on the steps of the Capitol, while taking turns speaking against the Health-care Bill as well as Obama's Socialist agenda. It was absolutely awesome to feel the support coming from our own Representatives in Washington. Unlike the 9/12 Rally held at the Capitol...this time it looked like EVERY TV station was there to cover it. I believe the protesters plan to be there until the Bill gets rejected... (through the weekend if necessary). This time they are going inside the Capitol (federal buildings) and talking directly to the Representatives. To me, the amazing part was knowing that 4,000 patriots traveled to DC on a weekday with only a 3 day notice. Unbelievable!!! I sooo wish I could have been there. I am truly impressed with all the patriotic people who feel the same way we do about Obama's administration and are willing to stand up and fight for our great country and our freedom. Today Obama was IN-TOWN and I know he heard them loud and clear. Let's see what they have to say about this tomorrow. God Bless America
