"Developer shills bought this election!"

Give it 1 hour, 10 minutes (8:23 p.m.) - let the chorus of developer shills emanate from the usual suspects.

These people are bigger than that.  They will be gracious in defeat as they were noble in their effort at positive campaigning.  I know we will have a united community by morning.

Beat em to the punch...that's the way to do it.

You cannot possibly, in all good conscience, mean that only people of color count in this community.

Grasping desperately at straws by race baiting and playing the "Race Card".  I would hope that no one in Modesto would fall for this line of thinking as it is the waning song titled "Sour Grapes" we are hearing.  No rhyme or reason for calling out "white" voters over others.  No reason except for anger that his candidate did not win.  Every candidate had the same opportunity to get their message out.  Some did... some did not.  Some won... some did not.

Racism has no place in Modesto… but that doesn’t seem how wayne08 feels does it? This is becoming sadder and sadder with each postings wayne08 makes.
