Olsen and Council Can't find Money for the Parks But can find Money to cover their mistakes with the Bus Garage

While Kristin Olsen voted to close Parks and park restrooms because they didn't have any money, they sure found EXTRA money when it came to covering their mistakes is planning the Bus Garage. Can you imagine the cost over runs when it's being built when it cost Modesto over an extra third just for the plans.
We have to many insiders on the council it's time to send a message of "NO MORE" will we tolerate campaign contributions in exchange for votes favoring special interests.

Where's Day 2/1 from Bob, TS?
I'm curious to see what the mood of the Stanford camp (i.e., Day 2/1 countdown from Bob) is on the verge of tomorrow's election and what their expectations are. I've seen some Stanford signs around town and I know Joe Muratore has sent out multiple mailers now showing him with kids in a classroom, with a policeman and firefighter, and with Dan Costa, as well as Muratore beside the city of Modesto seal inside Tenth Street Place.
I read Stanford's candidate statement (trying to remember here): "I am your fist. I am your rage. I am the real thing."

Ms olsen was seen on the Modesto BEE with her cousins, I would love to know why she never answered the John Olsen connection at Big valley grace Community Church. The trees donated may have offdset the open lavatories as well.

The Church-State coziness out there bothers the crap out of me, not that there are churches but of the violatiuon of State and Federal laws being flouted. As i recall we are a Nation of laws, if we break them we pay, maybe the City should be a bit more Civil in the suggestion of Ms Olsen to beautify Pelandale,
The same money for trees which went up, that money could have given the money to fund open park lavatories.
Which in the real world is more important man or the trees?

they in their minds its okay to abuse the citizens by rewarding campaign donors, and ther personal special interests. We know it is wrong for them to use public funds to beautify their residential neighborhood and church.
They are self absorbed and are trying to build themselves up to sit upon a pedistol so many will praise them for a job well done according to them.
All this while the rest of the citizens suffer and go without services which they have paid for.
