I get to be a 'cowgirl' and go
Trick or Treat with my 8 year old niece. What plans do you have for this fun night?

LSK49rs our halloween
I am going to ignore the above comment as it is not worth discussing and is in poor taste.
Today is a huge football day, followed by trick or treating with the kids and a party afterwards. Yes, we dress up with the kids every year. However, my favorite halloween of all time is when my daughter was three and she went as a ballerina. My husband being a good natured person with a great sense of humor agreed to wear a costume I bought for him. It was a big hairy gorilla dressed in a pink tutu. Oh, the looks from everyone, as he held our daughter's hand walking from door to door. I just about wet myself. LOL.
Every once in a while we get it out of the closet and he makes his appearance at the kids school. Boy, do they get embarrassed. But when their friends say their parents would never do that and how lucky they are to have parents like us. It is then they look back and find the humor of it all.
Welcome to my world
Hi Lsk Happy Halloween!
Well on Thursday nite my hubby went to get me tickets to see "This Is It" for Friday. Omg I cried, thank God the place wasn't full. My daughter and I went during the day. She called me a dork LMAO! They were giving out these necklaces with a picture of MJ I put mine on right away LOL! Again she called me a dork! LOL!
If you go see it, bring tissue. What I found so profound is that Michael says I Love you to all his sisters and brothers. Could you imagine when they seen this movie, I bet the tears were flowing.
He did look healthy to me. When he corrected someone, it was said with love His words "Lov"
It would of been a great concert.
So seeing this started my (our) Halloween night with laughter. We did decorate alot. My children (grandbabies) had the best of time.
What I will take away from this Halloween time, is spending time with my daughter. I will cherish that. She didn't have to go with her dorky mom LMAO!
You have a great week!!
Golide
that movie is supposed to be AWESOME
Unfortunately, I have to chose one movie to see before the Christmas season so I have decided to see the new John Cusack movie. I understand, however, that This Is It is an incredible tribute to MJ. I am so glad you enjoyed it!
And may I thank you for not being a hater? thank you.
We had one trick-or-treater...
ONE! For the entire evening!
Man, I remember when we used to fill the streets, when I was a boy.
But hey, the car still managed to get egged...*shrug*
OH NO!!!
that's awful, Chris! Egging a car - YUCK...what an awful clean up.
We ran out of candy by 8:30pm - little scavengers were all over the place (lololol). It was a lot of fun.
