Juggalos take issue with label as a gang: Are they TERRORISTS ?

Juggalos take issue with label as a gang - There's nothing new about rap artists inviting controversy by glamorizing a thug lifestyle, with the most successful among them claiming ties to street gangs even as they move into mansions and get airplay on mainstream radio or music television.

The juggalo's are considered a Street gang by the District Attorney's findings.

According to state law: they are TERRORIST just the same as Surreno's and Norteno's or the Blood's and the Crip's based upon california law. below I have cited the laws in this case.

Do you think street gangs are domestic terrorist ?

According to the STEP ACT. California Law 186.20: This chapter shall be known and cited as the "California Street Terrorism Enforcement and Prevention Act"

186.21  The Legistlature hereby finds and declares that it is the right of every person, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, or handicap, to be secure and protected from fear, intimidation, and physical harm caused by the activities of a violent groups and individuals.  It is not the intent of this chapter to interfere with the excercise of the constitutionally protected rights of freedom of expression and association. The Legistlature hereby recognizes the constitutional right of every citizen to harbor and express beliefs on any lawful subject whatsoever, to lawfully associate with others who share the similar beliefs, to petition lawfully constituted authority for a redress of percieved grievances, and to participate in the electoral process.

The Legislature, however, further finds that the State of California is in a State of crisis which has been caused by violent street gangs whose members threaten, terrorize and commit a multitude of crimes against the peaceful citizens of their neighbrhoods. These activities, both individually and collectively present a clear and present danger to the public order and safety and are not constitutionally protected.

The chapter goes on to describe all the reasons as to why these streetgangs are terrorists organizations.

THIS BLOG OR COMMENT WAS WRITTEN BY WAYNE2008 WHO IS A PROTESTER AGAINST WHAT HE BELIEVES IS MIS-MANAGEMENT OR CORRUPTION IN OUR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND WHO IS ALSO AN ADVOCATE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF THE MENTALLY ILL AND WHO IS ALSO AGAINST RACISM IN ALL FORMS.

If gangs are considered terrorists, which I believe they are

Shouldn't Stanislaus County be able to apply for federal grant money from the Department of Homeland Security?

I HAVE SUGGESTED IT MANY TIMES

Stanislaus county has been mis-managed and have passed up so many opportunites such as calling gangtecc or asking for satelite imagery to solve cold cases, this has been one administration which is behind the times. you need to ask your buddy the sheriff about the federal grants, he just wants to play movie star for DVDs

The gangs have terrorized this community and put fear in the hearts of families, and caused whole neighborhoods to go to heck, because the gangs think they own your property and you, and yet, ask yourself when was the last gangsweep.?.................many months now. just more mis-management hopefully the DAs bracelet idea has some effect...though I doubt it will.

Activist1's picture

Is there an archive for satelite pictures?

If so how far back do they go?

I hope the ankle bracelets work too.

Doesn't the US lock up terrorists?

For crying out loud, Bush said Terrorists flew into the World Trade Center and we went to war over terrorists didn't we?

Why so meek now in dealing with Terrorists? One of the two don't add up? No consistency in thinking, if you know what I mean.

SATELITE VIDEOS

And images are available through the Homeland security and the Doj satelite images are shared with law enforcement by the US MILITARY.  This went into effect in 2007 as with gangtecc yet , no call for help from stanislaus county.

The sheriff could easily call for help and GANGTECC will take down the streetgangs, through a series of federal laws, and incarcerate them in the federal prisons.

The Satelite images are archived and can go back to the late 80s and the older ones are being treated so they may be ready for use by 2011 and would go back to the 60s

The streetgangs

Are laughing at the  police because they believe the police will not do a gangsweep for fear of being sued.

And now look more shootings and killings the public needs to protect themselves during these hard times.

Gangsweeps have been deemed

operation non-grata by the OCRPP, therefore citizens are duly advised to panic.

I have to tell you Wayne, I mostly stay out of this blogging

area. But I do read what you write most of the time. I understand your concern, I really do. I, like you am not against L/E at all. That's ludicrous to even think.

However it really is beyond my imagination why L/E does not protect our entire community by going straight after these drug/gang cartels. They literally are taking over our community, day by day. They affect our quality of life in our homes, schools, parks, public streets, everywhere we are.

The idiotic so-called War on Drugs was lost many moons ago. I find it ironic that we can take active action simply from suspected phone calls, etc., get court orders to enter property, but yet we have shootings/stabbings/thefts each and every day and don't do a damn thing pro-active that makes a real difference.

They can pass 12 more laws and label the gangs/drug cartel members all they want and I will bet anyone my $10 to your $1, next year we will still be behind the eight ball in this area and in fact crime will be worse.

Any Takers? I'm serious. My $10 to your $1 and I bet our community crime is worse this time next year.

I am glad to see you Wayne, Truthseekers and a few others show interest in this huge area of concern. It takes a lot to step up to the plate like you citizens do and while doing so, set an excellent example of a quality, participating citizen.

God Bless!

Thanks for the video MalcomeKyle

The mongol's are one of my favorite history subjects.

Bikerack

Thanks for your comment, and I seen you have placed the drug cartels with the streetgangs which is true, that is their main business of trade along with theft.

You maybe right, we have so many laws on the books now yet instead of targeting criminals everyone becomes the target and can be deemed criminal.  The main laws against the streetgangs are not enforced enough in my opinion. and it's true you can write more laws, and their still not enforced and the citizens are still terrorized and the streetgangs still roam the streets shooting and killing.......How many cold cases are we looking at each year that go unsolved ?

I am still wondering,,,,

I am still wondering why the article in today's paper regarding the Juggalo's is even news.

Waste of ink and space if you ask me.

mtber

Why is it a waste of ink? Do you realize this is happening all over our great nation?  These GANGS and wannabees are destroying the infra-structure of our society and most law enforcement agency's are paralized to act, while the streetgangs continue to kill to forward their own self interest.

Because....

Because the point of the story in the Bee is how the "Juggalos" think they do not deserve to be labeled as a gang.  That in itself, to me, is a waste.  Do we really care what they think when a group of "Juggalos" beat up a man in Gracaeda Park for no reason whatsoever?  I personally do not.  I don't really care what these "Juggalos" think.

Assault with special add-ons

The assault on the man in the park would have otherwise been just another victim of crime in this fair city.  Because the assailants are alleged members of a gang, there are some nuances to the charges.  Sorry, don't recall those details, but the case is being fortified with the gang label.

BikeRack's picture

I agree with identifying and targeting the drug/gang cartels.

The only part I would be somewhat concerned about is who and how and under what criteria is L/E assembling their list of names.

The drug/gang cartels operating in our community's are not just a little buddy, buddy friendship group gone wrong at times. No way. They are malicious, vicious and hungry for what you and I have and will do whatever is necessary including but not limited to killing you or I, to get what they want at the given moment. And they are larger in numbers and getting larger by the day.

They are destroying the entire fabric of our once loving Society. And for a reason beyond my belief, L/E and our courts stand back and watch it happen day by day by day.

Peace Out!

Waste of gang label

I believe the problem here is in the lack of organized crime mentality in these folks. It was unplanned immature group mentality.

Another thing, the older man in this incident seemed to slightly initiate the violence by squeezing the kids hand extra hard. I amount justifying their action's, but only attempt to bridge the gap more between these "gangsters" and a group of drunk college kids.

We need to look at why these kids growing up wanting to listen to hate filled, violent music. Why are they so prone to be pissed off at the world. Where did the unhappiness come from that wore off on them?

BikeRack's picture

Woo,hoo,hoo. Northbound

listening is not the answer. I could care less what a drug/gang cartel member has to say. What's it's time to do is get them out of Society for awhile and that in and of itself, puts the message out to everyone affiliated with these violent gangs, as to what the outcome is going to be.

You can try touchy-feely counselling one of the idiots during your next home invasion, but I want no part of it.

The drug/gang cartel needs to go yesterday. It's a community atrocity we have let the gang/drug cartel get this far out of hand.

northbound's picture

Wee, hee,hee BikeRack

Understanding what creates them is the only chance we would have of "getting them out of society"

get them out of society? Most of the gangs around here started in a prison somewhere!

BikeRack's picture

If they are in the drug/gang cartel to bad. Send them back.

And let the less violent offenders out to make room for them, if you have to.

I don't need to know anymore about why a person does a home invasion or shoots/knives someone. Lock um up and continue the scientific study at a later day. That's fine with me. But lock um up first.

Do you realize the horrendous impact these drug/gang cartel thugs have on our community? Hate to tell people, but you/we are in a crisis right now.

For those that don't understand that, you'll find out someday down the road if we just keep on doing what we've been doing.

I AM TALKING ABOUT THE REAL DRUG/GANG CARTEL. Not some little group of Juniors wearing baggy pants and playing pin ball machines. There is a huge difference and some tend to lump them all together just as some try to do with Mexicans and the immigration issue. Not a wise thing.

hate to burst the bubble

But these three defendants ... have been so hyped up by the ModBee.

But this is one of the most idiotic,  blown out of proportion stories to be protrayed by the media in awhile.

Can anyone tell me how many times this story, with pictures of the defendants, has appeared in the media?

I know ... and believe me ... I know, that media and quite possibly the prosecutors in this case, are making this out to be a mountain out of a molehill......... "make examples out of them"

This was not a gang hit .... or terrorist conspiracy on the part of these three defendants. Was a crime commited, it appears ... but I was not present during the incident .. so that is up to the judicial system.

In my opinion, and I state it as such .. and nothing more . . due to any connection to the case. This was a argument ... between the named victim and one of the defendants. It escalated, with fighting words . . . and then a brawl .... and what usually happens ... one side of the party ... loses. This is what separates your victim(s) and suspect(s), more often than not.

Fear sells alot of papers . . . it also restores confidence in the theory of law.

Again, this story about this incident ... is way over blown. And I have resisted in commenting until now.

EXPERIMENTATION IN THE SEA OF LAW

Notice the tip-toe into this case, and now the ankle bracelets.

I do believe we have an experiment in progress.
