I'm catching up to the brackets, but I know that Zizzo lost by fall to Santa Monica's Sami Syed at 135s. Chasing the others.

Turlock boys, how are they wrestling?

Haven't seen any Turlock guys yet.

Urquizo (15-0) and Belton (:05) both advanced at 152s.

AC Brown, Matt Skinner lost at 160s and Brown has Adam Lymath from Folsom in first round conso. SO one SJS wrestler will be out early there.

Ryan Mackey of Ripon is 2-0! He beat Alex Brown of Poway (San Diego champ) 6-4 in an outbracket and beat Central Coast #3 Devan Santos of Palma 4-2. He's got Zach Belway of San Marcos in the round of 16 at 171 pounds.

Mobley and Delgado should be coming up soon. Thanks for the updates.

189s: Taylor Mobley (Turlock) and Jake Hill (Davis) both lost.

Just realized we have another all-SJS conso. match at 160s. Waterford's Erick Gomez lost to Bakersfield's Jose Ramirez 4-2 in an outbracket. Gomez drew Elk Grove's Jasen Henderson next.

They're through the first round into conso. right now. I saw that Knowles from Calvary Chapel beat Oakdale's Charlie Gilstrap 6-3 in their outbracket.

The only local 215 pounder who won in the first round was Marco Delgado of Turlock, he beat Silverado's Mike Joromat 9-5.

And Central's Matt Galas won by fall (2:45) over Kerman's Teddy Furnish at heavies, so he's 1-0.

Galton up 7-0 anfter a reversal early in the second period.

tos I did something like that last year. Things haven't changed all that much, except there does seem to be more people here this year. Lots of folks in te upper reaches.

It's me again...How is Nick Mazza of Riordan doing?

Galton up 11-3 late in the third.

Central's Kris Zizzo on the mat against Livermore's Brisk Kannel. It's 0-0 in the 2nd.

What weight is Mazza?

Galton closes it out by picking Watts up and dropping him for a takedown and 13-4 win.

And Kannel, who started on top in the second period, just pinned Zizzo.

And Tanner Feuerstein of Central pinned Oakdale's Jake Butler. Bad luck for those two to draw each other in conso.

Hartman down 8-5 in the third having given up back points. He's using injury time.

Burkhalter lost 5-4 in conso. to Paul Rodriguez of Oak Grove.

Vlad has some time before his next match, but I will definitely update.

You got it, betty. The schedule says the next championship round begins at 3:30 p.m., but they are ahead of schedule.

They're at 160s in conso right now.

AC Brown/Lymath in front of me, Gomez-Henderson to my left and Skinner-Edwards is 7-7 very late.

Skinner-Edwards in OT. They're both wearing green so it's tough to tell who is who. EDIT: This one's over, and it looks like Skinner lost.

And AC Brown with the escape with 5 seconds left for a 1-0 win!

And Gomez wins 11-8!
