Calling all Band-Aid Bandit Pun-dits

The arrest Thursday of the alleged Band-Aid Bandit in Merced County simply begs for a pun contest. Some of the best ones could appear in my Tuesday column.

I'll start it:

Officers had probable gauze to arrest him.

The band aid bandit just got himself into a sticky situation, I wouldn't count on flexability from the Judge, and stretching the truth wont help.

Maybe he is hiding out in Yellowstone under the AKA -
