As a witness to the Sabatino Trial almost in it’s entirety, I need to share with you the story of juror #10 who was dismissed.
Jurror #10 was a pretty young pregnant lady. I could never really tell if she was supportive of the defense, or the prosecution. It was quite a long time into the trial that everyone was informed that she had been dismissed from the jury. At first rumors went around that it was because of her pregnancy, but it was after the trial that I learned from Frank Carson, and Carmen Sabatino what really went on behind closed doors. This is very interesting, and I think there was an effort by certain people to infiltrate the very jury that was to decide the fate of our former Mayor Carmen Sabatino.

You should know

A profile of Modesto Irrigation Director Tom Van Groningen on issues he has not addressed will be discussed on the Morning Mayor at 9.

Van Groningen served on the Board of Directors of County Bank which had to close after making bad loans to Westside developers.  Investors and employees lost their money.

The bank allowed predatory lending which led to financial ruin for many.

Van Groningen admits that he would not involve the MID in the probable $80 million in losses on the Mountain House project if he could  do it over again.

The MID is still paying for the losses on the Geothermal project with your money obtained by increased rates.
