Lack of Endorsements for sheriff
Submitted by Shamott on Fri, 2009-11-06 20:45.
The lack of endorsers on adam's website screams "lack of trust" and "vote of no confidence" for this "sleeping gorilla" we have as sheriff.
1. There are NO Police Chiefs within Stanislaus County endorsing adam. (outside the realm of control of contract cities)
2. There are NO current COUNTY SUPERVISORS endorsing adam.
3. There is NO endorsement by his best friend and fishin buddy Roy Wasden, (former Modesto Police Chief).
Where's the clerical union's vote?? Anyone know when this is coming? However, I seriously doubt they will endorse the gorilla.
Oh wait.... did the K-9 dogs vote yet???
*woof*

News headline of the Day........
"Sheriff Loses his own patrol deputies endorsement for re-election"
Is this basically a "vote of no confidence" in the Sheriff?

While searching through the Stanislaus Case File Index on the Courts for all cases in which Adam Christianson was a party to, the following are the results of that search:
Sheriff Christianson and Title 18 USC §1346 … Yet another perspective …
Submitted by Shamott on Mon, 2009-05-11 16:51.
To commit a violation of Title 18 USC §1346 is to commit a felony. Former Orange County Sheriff Mike Corona can attest to that as he is going to go to prison for several years. Here is a beginning example of what may be construed as violations of Title 18 USC §1346, and if not that then just another example of extremely poor judgment.
Senator John Kerry calls newspapers an "Endangered Species" in Senate Hearing held today on the Future of Journalism

An interesting hearing was held in Washington D.C. today..... Also, I would ask any editors at the Bee if anyone from McClatchy was at the hearing today and made any statement, I was unable to watch the hearing in its entirety. Will there be anything from McClatchy coming out regarding this hearing today? Isn't this Doyle's beat? Thx. Sen John Kerry (D-Massachusetts) Chariman of the Commerce Subcommittee on Communications, just closed the hearing with the Communications, Technology and Internet Subcommitee regarding the future of journalism. Arianna Huffington was the last speaker. The video may be available on the following link.
